Yvonne Tsai is Professor of Translation Studies in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at National Taiwan University. Her teaching and research focus on translation technology, MTPE and AI-assisted translation, translation project management, crisis translation, legal translation, and translator education. She is the author of Translating University Regulations (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2024), and her recent work examines the impact of AI and digital tools on translation pedagogy and professional practice. Her publications on translation technology include “Student Translators’
Perceptions of Translator–Computer Interaction in Collaborative Drama Translation Practice” (Journal of Translation Studies, 2024) and “Technology Advancement and Patent Translation” (Journal of Translation Technology, 2015). She has also presented widely on AI and translation education, including “From Machine to Human: Translation Pedagogy Design and Post-Editing Practice in the Age of AI” at Taiwan Fu Jen University, “Teaching Song Translation in the Age of AI: Skopos Theory and Multimodality in the Translation Classroom” at the 30th International Symposium on Translation and Interpreting Teaching, and “Singing Across Algorithms: Human and AI Song Translation in a Multimodal Context” at the CIUTI Conference 2026 in Milan.

Jian Gang is the Head of Model Development in AI Singapore, and leads the team that develops the SEA-LION family of models, including safety models and embedding models, as well as the team that develops the SEA-HELM evaluation suite and maintains the SEA-HELM leaderboard. He and his team also has formalised their work into various research publications, including 'SEA-LION: Southeast Asian Languages in One Network', 'SEA-HELM: Southeast Asian Holistic Evaluation of Language Models', 'SEA-Guard: Culturally Grounded Multilingual Safeguard for Southeast Asia', 'Sea-SafeguardBench: Evaluating AI Safety in SEA Languages and Cultures', and 'SEA-BED: Southeast Asia Embedding Benchmark'.

Jeongmi Ahn is an AI Engineer at AI Singapore, where she works on post-training and development of the SEA-LION family of open-source large language models for Southeast Asian languages. Her work focuses on multilingual NLP and improving language technologies for the linguistically diverse Southeast Asian region.

電気通信大学大学院修士課程修了。京都大学大学院博士（工学）。日本アイ・ビー・エム東京基礎研究所、国際電気通信基礎技術研究所（ATR）を経て2007年から情報通信研究機構（NICT）に勤務（2016年からフェロー）。2010年に音声翻訳のスマホアプリ「VoiceTra（ボイストラ）」、2014年にテキスト翻訳サイト「TexTra（テキストラ）」 を公開。2017年から総務省と協力して自動翻訳の高精度化のために 「翻訳バンク」を運営。また、音声翻訳の国家プロジェクト「グロー バルコミュニケーション計画2025」等を推進。

（株）翻訳センターに入社して以来、約30年間、翻訳業界に携わる。翻訳の現場経験としては営業職を努める。また、同社や関連会社のマネジメントを多く努める。

2003年から工作機械の使用説明作成に従事。2016年からは、ドイツの拠点との使用説明の内容および用語の統一、各国語翻訳の効率化を推進してきた。近年は動画マニュアル作成にも取り組んでいる。良質な使用説明作成には関係部署との連携が不可欠であり、円滑なコミュニケーションを図りながら協力し合っている。生成AIなど多様な手法を活用し、業務拡大に対応しつつ効率化と品質向上を追求している。

2000年より株式会社堀場製作所にて、取扱説明書およびサービスドキュメントの制作・管理に従事。2020年からはグループ会社の株式会社堀場テクノサービスに所属し、サービスドキュメントの制作、広報物の校正・校閲、社内で制作されるさまざまな文書の制作支援を担う。技術情報の作り手として、利用者に伝わりやすく、正確な情報を届けるドキュメントづくりに取り組んでいる。

一般財団法人テクニカルコミュニケーター協会（JTCA）常務理事。パナソニック ハウジングソリューションズ株式会社にて、長年にわたり製品ドキュメンテーションやパブリックリレーションズの責任者を務めたのち現職。現在は同協会の出版および広報部門を統括する。AI技術の急速な進化を見据え、従来の「マニュアル」という枠組みを超えた、これからの時代に求められる新たな「利用者用情報（User Information）」へのアップデートを推進している。本大会では、産業用機器業界における機械翻訳活用の現状とコミュニケーションデザインの未来について議論を展開する。

アジア太平洋機械翻訳協会副会長。品質管理担当として（株）川村インターナショナルに入社後、翻訳、プロジェクトマネジメントなどの制作全般業務を経験。2013年から機械翻訳サービスの開発に携わり、現在は機械翻訳と生成AIを組み合わせたソリューションの開発に取り組んでいる。同社代表取締役社長。
